Waterfront power done right
Dock and Boat Lift Electrical
Waterfront living on the Indian River and Banana River means docks, boat lifts and lighting that operate right next to the water. That electrical work has to be done with marine conditions in mind, with proper GFCI protection, corrosion-resistant equipment and safe wiring methods.
Grand Electric, Inc. installs and repairs dock power, boat lift circuits, dock lighting and shore outlets for waterfront homes across Brevard County. We use materials suited to salt air and moisture and build the safety protection in from the start.

Common questions
Dock Electrical FAQs
Why does dock wiring need special care?
Water and electricity are a dangerous combination. Dock wiring needs GFCI protection, proper grounding and weather- and corrosion-resistant materials to stay safe.
Can you wire a new boat lift?
Yes. We install the circuit and controls for boat lift motors and make sure they're protected for a wet location.
My dock outlets keep tripping. Is that normal?
Frequent GFCI trips usually mean moisture or damaged wiring somewhere on the circuit. Don't bypass the GFCI; call us to find and fix the cause.
Can you add lighting to my dock?
Yes. We install dock and pier lighting with fixtures rated for marine environments.
