Know your home is safe
Home Electrical Safety Inspections
An electrical inspection tells you what condition your home's wiring is really in. It's useful when buying a home, when an insurance company asks for one, when a house has older wiring or simply when you want peace of mind.
A licensed Grand Electric, Inc. electrician checks your panel, wiring, outlets, grounding and protection devices, then explains what we found in plain language. We point out real safety issues and tell you what can wait, so you can make informed decisions.

Common questions
Electrical Inspection FAQs
When should I get an electrical inspection?
Before buying a home, when your insurer requests one, after storm damage, when a home has older wiring or when you notice warning signs like tripping breakers or warm outlets.
What do you check?
We inspect the panel and breakers, service equipment, visible wiring, outlets and switches, grounding and bonding, and GFCI and AFCI protection.
Will you fix the problems you find?
If you'd like, yes. We explain each finding and give you a clear estimate for any repairs, but there's no obligation.
Can you help with insurance requirements?
Yes. Insurers often ask about panel brand, wiring type and age. We can inspect your system and correct issues an insurer has flagged.
