Lighting Installation FAQs
Can you add recessed lights to an existing ceiling?
Yes. We can install remodel-style recessed lights in most existing ceilings, often with minimal patching.
Do LED fixtures work with my existing dimmers?
Not always. Older dimmers can cause LEDs to flicker or buzz. We install dimmers rated for LED loads when we upgrade your lighting.
Can you hang a heavy chandelier?
Yes. Heavy fixtures need a properly supported box, and we install the support the fixture requires.
How many recessed lights does a room need?
It depends on the room size, ceiling height and how you use the space. We'll recommend a layout that gives even light without overdoing it.
