Pool and Spa Electrical Service

Pools and spas combine water and electricity, so the wiring has to be done correctly. Pumps, heaters, lights and automation systems each need the right circuits, and proper bonding and GFCI protection are essential for safety.

Grand Electric, Inc. wires new pool and spa equipment, troubleshoots problems with existing systems and brings older pool electrical up to current safety standards. We work with pool builders and service companies across Brevard County.

Common questions

Pool and Spa Electrical FAQs

What is pool bonding?

Bonding connects the metal parts around a pool so they stay at the same electrical potential, which helps protect swimmers from shock. It's a required part of pool electrical work.

Does my hot tub need its own circuit?

Yes. Most hot tubs need a dedicated circuit with a GFCI disconnect located within sight of the tub.

Can you wire new pool automation?

Yes. We install the power and wiring for automation systems that control pumps, heaters, lights and features.

My pool equipment keeps tripping the breaker. What should I do?

Turn the equipment off and call us. Repeated trips can point to a failing motor, damaged wiring or a moisture problem that should be checked.
