Recover safely after the storm
Storm and Hurricane Electrical Damage Repair
Hurricanes and severe storms can damage service masts, meter bases, outdoor equipment and wiring, and floodwater can ruin outlets, panels and circuits. Turning power back on before damaged equipment is checked can be dangerous.
Grand Electric, Inc. inspects storm-damaged electrical systems, makes the repairs needed to restore service safely and helps coordinate with your utility for reconnection. The same crews who provide temporary power during federal disaster response help Brevard families recover at home. After-hours emergency service is available.

Common questions
Storm Damage FAQs
Is it safe to turn my power back on after flooding?
Not until the affected equipment has been inspected. Water can damage panels, outlets and wiring in ways that aren't visible. Leave the power off and have an electrician check it first.
My service mast was damaged. Who fixes it?
The mast and meter base on your home are usually the homeowner's responsibility. We repair them so the utility can reconnect your service.
Can you help with my insurance claim?
We document the damage we find and the repairs we make, which you can provide to your insurance company.
Do you offer emergency service?
Yes. After-hours emergency service is available when storm damage can't wait.
